Pay

£9.00 - £13.00 /hour

(Negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications)

A successful applicant with a level 1 MAG, WAG or GG coaching qualification who is willing to undertake a level 2 MAG coaching course starting in 2020 or 2021 will receive mentoring for the duration of the course. Six months post-qualification, the consultant will be refunded the full cost of the course.

OUGym also aims to provide all coaches with First Aid training.

Hours

We would ideally like the applicant to coach our Saturday sessions, currently 17:15 – 19:30, during Oxford University term times (https://www.ox.ac.uk/about/facts-and-figures/dates-of-term).

Description

Oxford University Gymnastics Club (OUGym) is looking to appoint a highly motivated gymnastics coach who is passionate about providing opportunities for adults to participate and compete, with a particular focus on men’s artistic gymnastics. Our full apparatus training sessions are held at Abingdon Gymnastics Club in Oxford where all of our members are invited to train on a non-committal basis. All of our members are at least 18 years of age. The majority are students and staff of Oxford University, but also include visiting students and members of the community. The club is run by a committee of annually-elected club members with the support of the Oxford University Sports Federation.

How to Apply

The successful applicant will be appointed on a contract in the form of a consultancy agreement. Consultancy agreements are renewed annually.
