Two female volleyball players jumping to block in the Oxford vs Cambridge Varsity match

Volleyball at Oxford is traditional six-a-side indoor volleyball. Volleyball is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, either at university or college level, as well as both students and non-students. We welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Volleyball.

Our Club | Oxford University Volleyball Club

The club is growing rapidly, now bringing together about 100 members who represent Oxford at both competitive and recreational levels.

The club is structured around 3 men’s and 3 women’s teams. The Blues teams compete against other universities in the Western Conference of the BUCS League, and the 2nd teams in the Berkshire Volleyball Association (BVA). Both teams also play a Varsity Match against Cambridge every year. We achieve excellent results in all these competitions. The 3rd teams are developmental, include coaching, and welcome new and/or recreational players.

Besides training and matches, we build strong club spirit by organising diverse and fun social events, formal dinners, volleyball tournaments and alumni matches.
