Triathlon

Triathlon is a fun sport, combining swimming, running and biking in one event. Triathlon is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Triathlon.

Our Club | Oxford University Triathlon Club

The club welcomes individuals of ALL abilities to join the club and take part in triathlon. The club is made up of around 150 members ranging from complete beginners to international athletes. Every year we welcome many novice athletes who have never taken part in triathlon before. The club is known as one of the friendliest sports clubs in Oxford!

At our training sessions we provide professional coaching in all three disciplines. We race triathlons (swim/run/bike) in the summer and duathlons (run/bike/run) in the winter. Our main races include the British Universities Championships and the annual Varsity Triathlon against Cambridge.

Our Club members also regularly compete in other events ranging from local triathlons to World Championships, and from ‘sprint’ distance (750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run) all the way up to the infamous Ironman.
