Tai Chi is a martial art, focused on the practical self-defense aspects of the art, based on the teachings of Master Cheng Tin Hung. The Wudang style of Taijiquan is practised. Tai Chi is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Tai Chi. 

 

Our Club | Oxford University Tai Chi Club

The club welcomes both beginners and more experienced students. There is a weekly university class, which consists of paired pushing hand exercises, grappling exercises, martial exercises, pad work and hand form.

Members of the local community are also welcome to attend the two weekly public classes: martial classes (focusing on practical applications and sparring) and form classes (focusing on the development of core strength, balance and flexibility).
