Ski & Snowboard are fun, varied sports, incorporating indoor and outdoor training and competitions. Skiing & Snowboarding is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Skiing & Snowboarding.
Our Club | Oxford University Ski & Snowboard Club
The club welcomes new members of all levels of experience and ability, including beginners. During term, there is weekly training, with both freestyle and race sessions, and as well as sessions for beginners. These take place at local indoor snow slopes, as well as Oxford locations for a dry last fitness training. The club also runs a summer training camp, usually around the end of September.
There are opportunities to race against other universities at BUCS, at BUiSC and against Cambridge in an annual Varsity. The latter takes place during the highlight of the Skiing and Snowboarding annual calendar – the Varsity Trip, a week-long university-wide joint Oxford and Cambridge ski trip.
