Orienteering

Orienteering Banner

Orienteering is, simply speaking, getting between a series of points marked on a map as quickly as you can, with only the aid of a compass and your own navigational skills. Orienteering is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Orienteering.

Our Club | Oxford University Orienteering Club

During term we train with casual club runs, intervals sessions and mapwork. If we can't get to an event on the weekend we aim to train in Oxford. The orienteering club is small and friendly, and both training sessions and competitions cater from complete beginners to those representing Great Britain. There are opportunities to compete against other universities at BUCS and against Cambridge in an annual Varsity.
