How did you get into the sport?

My family had a canoe since I was little

How has the Blues Performance Scheme helped you?

The Blues Performance Scheme has provided me with a great support structure allowing me to operate in a high challenge high support environment which I find to be very beneficial to my training. 

What is your advice on balancing sport and academia?

I treat both aspects in a very similar way; using planning, periodisation and communication with key people to make sure that I am doing my best in both. 

How have you managed training during lockdown?

All of the waterways near me have been closed so I have switched my training to mostly running. I was lucky to also be able to borrow some gym equiment from my canoe club.
