Equestrian is more commonly refered to as horse riding. It refers to the skill and sport of riding, driving, steeplechasing or vaulting with horses. Equestrian is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Equestrian. At Oxford we most commonly take part in showjumping and dressage competitions.

Riding at Oxford is a Discretionary Full Blue Sport. Where Half Blues are awarded to individuals who compete in a varsity match and qualify for BUCS regional finals. Discretionary Full Blues are awarded to individuals who place in the top ten at the BUCS National Championships or who represent team GB whilst studying at Oxford.
In previous years talented individuals have competed at the prestigious BUCS National Championships and represented GB on the student riders team.
OUEC is also the perfect way to brush up your riding skills whilst at university or a fantastic opportunity to learn to ride for the first time. We are very fortunate to be able to run weekly lessons for our members at affordable rates
