Through a summer course local to me when I was around 9/10
How has the Blues Performance Scheme helped you?
Tailored programs from the BPS have enabled me to get strong enough to transition from youth classes to the bigger and more physical Olympic classes.
What is your advice on balancing sport and academia?
I find that having more intense periods where I focus on either sport or academia works best for me. Trying to do too much study at a training camp or too much sailing during term usually leads to poor performance all round. I prefer to split my time into separate blocks.
