How did you get into the sport?

Through parkrun; I started doing parkrun every week after having a go at a triathlon and enjoying the running in it, then the next year I ended up qualifying for the London youth games through parkrun and a couple of years later I ended up joining my athletics club after meeting the coach at parkrun!

What is your advice on balancing sport and academia?

The 1-1 S&C coaching has been especially beneficial as it’s allowed me to incorporate S&C into my weekly training and, as I had never done weights before starting at Oxford, meant I was able to get to grips with everything at my own pace.

How have you managed training during lockdown?

Make the most of the structure that training adds to day to day life.
