Directions: From the centre of town, travel North on Woodstock Road and turn left through a small opening between the houses just after Frenchay Road. The ground is shared with St Anne’s College.

Students at St John’s enjoy playing a diverse range of sports within College and for the University. Many of the College’s sports facilities are of a professional standard. Recently, the Sports Ground on Woodstock Road has been enhanced by the expansion of the Sports Pavilion, and students now have access to brand new changing facilities and a bigger bar and post-match socialising area. We already had one gym in College which is now mostly used for team training, and we also have a brand new gym which was installed in Kendrew Quadrangle in 2011

Honours: Squash Cuppers Champions 2011/12

Blues Squad Grants up to £250 per year are available to pay for the costs associated with University level sports participation in blues sports. College sport teams receive support from the Amalgamated Trust Funds. The Sports Officer, Tutorial Fellow Professor Zoltán Molnár, organises regular meetings of sports team captains, other Fellows and staff to discuss the provision of facilities and other matters related to sports.
