Squash

Oxford University Squash Racquets Club (OUSRC) has a long, rich history as the home of squash in Oxford, and exists to develop and provide a forum for students to enjoy healthy competition, team spirit and sportsmanship.

Although the highlight of each year is the Blues Varsity Match at the RAC Club in London against the University of Cambridge (81 Men’s and around 40 Women’s matches have taken place), the club’s main goal is to develop squash at all levels at the University.

The provision of subsidised coaching to all OUSRC members, the organisation of ‘box’ leagues for individuals, running college team leagues and Cuppers competitions, and social events throughout the year, has lead to OUSRC becoming one of the larger sports clubs in the University.

OUSRC have four teams (two men’s and two women’s) that compete in the national BUCS competition, as well as in a varied fixture list which culminates in the Varsity Matches against the University of Cambridge.
