Lifesaving Club

Lifesaving

The Oxford University Lifesaving Club trains in accordance with award schemes/qualifications set down by the Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS). The club also competes in competitions organised by the British Universities Lifesaving Clubs Association (BULSCA).

Additional opportunities to participate in the sport of Lifesaving have been established by joining the club with Cambridge Lifesaving Club – creating and Oxbridge team at BULSCA affiliated competitions.

Our coaches are also RLSS trainer assessors and are therefore able to sign-off NPLQ training hours (a popular query at Freshers’ Fair) and to train members in specific qualifications.
