Amateur Boxing

One of the oldest and most prestigious boxing clubs in the country, OUABC prides itself in being open to beginners and experienced boxers alike. A Full Blue sport.

Although boxing is a highly aggressive sport, it also places great emphasis on technique, concentration and physical stamina. Boxing was one of the key events in the original Olympic Games in ancient Greece and the best boxers then were actually more famous for their ἀτραυμάτιστος (uninjured) boxing style.

Whether you are looking to take part in a match, improve your self-defence or augment your fitness, OUABC’s training sessions are hugely beneficial and all are warmly invited to take part.
