Contemporary Dance is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Contemporary Dance. The club has opportunities to train, choreograph and perform in a range of forms of dance, including tap, ballet and street.
Our Club | Oxford University Contemporary Dance Club
The Oxford University Contemporary Dance Club (previously know as “The Broad Street Dancers”) are Oxford’s leading contemporary and jazz performers. We produce and perform our annual sellout show, compete in an annual Varsity match against Cambridge as well as other university level competitions, and we recently won first place in the King’s College London ‘Just Dance It!’ We also perform at College Balls and Arts Weeks.
We are a diverse group of students passionate about all forms of dance, including tap, ballet and street. We meet at least twice a week to train, choreograph and perform.
If you are interested in joining us, email the president through the link below for more information. We hold annual auditions in October.
