Oxford University Triathlon Club – Coach

Pay Rate: £15 – £30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

The Oxford University Triathlon club is looking for an experienced coach to help continue their success at Varsity & BUCS competitions for both men and women, developing athletes ranging from complete beginners to those seeking to compete at the top level. Oxford has a rich history of successful triathletes and has consistently ranked in the top 5 institutions in the country and we are looking for someone that can continue this success. The successful candidate will overlook all aspects of coaching across all three disciplines and will have experience providing technical advice to athletes at varying levels.

The successful candidate will be working on a consultancy basis for the Oxford University Triathlon Club and will be expected to be registered/register as Self Employed with HMRC and hold their own coaching insurance policy with a PVG.



BTF Level 2 coaching qualification

Hours: 5-8 delivery hours & 2-3 session planning per week, exact hours TBC


Responsibilities Include

To write weekly training session plans which periodise training in preparation for Varsity and BUCS competitions.

To lead and deliver structured swimming, running and cycling coaching sessions to the Club Members at Oxford University.

To provide feedback and technical advice to club members.

Responsible for ensuring all sessions comply with Health and Safety regulations
