Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Grade 5: £25,482 – £30,395
Full-time: 36.5 hours per week (annualised hours)
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead a team of coaches in delivering an excellence service to all teams and athletes selected to be part of the University of Oxford’s high performance support service, the Blues Performance Scheme.
Working as part of the Sports Federation team, you will be responsible for the full coordination, administration and delivery of the strength and conditioning element of the service. In addition you will be planning, designing, delivering and reviewing strength and conditioning programmes underpinned by sound scientific knowledge for both teams and individual athletes. As part of this role you will work alongside colleagues in the sports services team and specialists from other areas of sports science to successfully provide a holistic athletic development service to Oxford’s student athletes.
You will be a UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and will have relevant experience of planning, designing, delivering and reviewing strength and conditioning programmes for teams and individual athletes. You will also have experience of leading or managing other coaches in a delivery based environment.
This post is a fixed term contract for 2 years.
