This is Oxford University Sports Department’s website. It is managed and maintained primarily by the Sports Federation, the representative body for student sport at Oxford University.
The appearance and navigation of this site is not consistent with that of the main University site (www.ox.ac.uk). Oxford is a collegiate University with 38 Colleges and 6 Permanent Private Halls, Divisions with Faculties, Departments, Schools, Institutes, Foundations, Centres and also, academic services, libraries, museums and collections. Each is independent and self-governing, running and maintaining their own websites, including this one, so will look different. In total there are more than a thousand sites that together make up the University’s overall web presence. This means that there will be neither visual nor organisational consistency but that there will be individuality, independence and ingenuity in abundance, characteristics that the University of Oxford is renowned for and has always encouraged.
This site was designed and built by Creative Network, Cheltenham through 2012/13. Creative also provide our ongoing hosting and maintenance.
